Born and raised in the NRV, Kari grew up in Blacksburg but has lived in Christiansburg for all her adult life. Together with her husband Brad, Kari has raised their four beautiful children right here in the New River Valley. Now, she enjoys her growing family and grandchildren. Pursuing her dream of becoming a teacher was a significant achievement, and she has developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and relationship building through her roles as a wife, mom, and educator.
