Andrea’s real estate journey began in 2007 as an investor, where she gained valuable insights into land development and residential rental properties. This foundation, coupled with her experience in commercial real estate and construction project contract administration for the Virginia Tech Foundation, provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the market. Andrea's passion lies in helping clients achieve their real estate goals, whether it's finding their dream home or securing a profitable investment property. Prior to joining RE/MAX 8 and the Myers and Travis team, Andrea thrived in client-focused roles within the tech industry. She worked with innovative startups for the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center and explored the exciting frontier of virtual real estate in the metaverse, collaborating with industry leaders like Google and NASA as one of the first partners in this space. A Virginia Tech alumna with a degree in engineering, Andrea has deep roots in the New River Valley. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she embraces adventure and challenges with enthusiasm and high energy. Whether it's hosting friends and family, gardening, exploring the beach, or enjoying the natural beauty of the New River Valley through kayaking and hiking, Andrea lives life to the fullest. A proud mother of two young adults--a son who is a Virginia Tech graduate and a daughter who earned her degree from Radford University–Andrea shares her Blacksburg home with her two spirited Irish Terriers, Delaney and Scarlett.
